Well they started internal beta in spring 2003 and promised open beta to start late summer 2003... now three years later beta still hasn't started :)

But i belive we are getting closer, the ammount of community activity from the staff hasn't been seen since they first announced the game. There weekly updates on several sites with new fresh material.

I say clan beta around winter, stress test in Q3 of 2007. But yeah, when devs starts spitting out more videos, the game will be closer to beta. Public stunt.

Honestly, the learning curve for this game is going to be huge. I dont mean just learning the actual gameplay, but incorporating workable strategy/etc. The past few years everyone has basically become stupid when it comes to PvP and MMOs in general. A game like Darkfall, in my opinion, is going to put alot of people on their ass when it comes time to show their stuff. Personally, I cant wait for it, but wow oh wow the bitching is going to be insane.

Haha stratos that is so true. :) atm i am playing Battlefield 2142 to keep my strategic mind up to date :) Really great clan game if you have 64 friends who play it aswelll :)

Well they have a working Beta on private servers, which is a good sign. They mentioned having a beta build done by January, which they do have, so they did meet the deadline, just not the deadline that the community thought they would get.

A true dream game. If it does everything that it promises, it'll be downright godly.

well they have had fully working internal beta for a while now. Hopefully they will get to closed public beta soon enough... or rather, i hope they wait some more since i got alot in school :)
